Bien Vivir / Buen Viver / Bem Viver: a post-development proposal in Southern Epistemologies

The critique of development is presented, through the questioning of its pillars and interests, as well as of its epistemology, through Bem Viver, as a post-development proposal. Both, post-development and well-being, are not homogenous currents, but they present common aspects that enable them to be treated together, and make up the Southern Epistemologies. The intention is to present an introductory text of these proposals and their connections, making visible the contribution that the invisible people bring to society: the resistance that proves that another way of existing, based on collectivity and harmony with nature, is not only possible, as it exists. Development is not the solution to the current crises, it is the cause of them.
